How to get more leads with trade shows

Tuesday, December 15th, 2009

The heart of all businesses are leads. If you have a product to sell you need people to contact to try to make a sale to.Well one place that generating leads are not truly taken advantage of are at trade shows.I say it isn’t used right because a lot of businesses hope to make the sales at the trade show.Sure you have the ability to get some sales at the trade shows, but if you really want to see a boost in sales, focus on getting leads first.Because most people at trade shows are just looking. They won’t and aren’t usually willing to buy, but if you have their information, you can follow up to make a sale.

So if you are going to use trade shows the right way and use them to generate leads you need a great trade show display booth setup.I mention you have to have a good setup because you need to have something that will attract the crowd’s attention. In other words if people are walking by and they don’t like what they see they will walk away.So make certain that the booth you set up is professional and attractive.

The next thing you want to do is have roll up banners. That way you can have a nice image or logo that you can set up that also attracts more attention. The booth is nice but a good banner can enhance the look and get people to come over.

Finally once you get them over to your tradeshow displays instead of concentrating on the sale concentrate on the first step.Said another way, you aren’t taught to run first, you have to walk. You have to look at acquiring their information as the beginning step. You will be able to close more sales with this in mind. Because which is easier, making a sale or getting their information?Their contact information will be easier to get, so you will have a lot of them to follow up on. And as mentioned leads are the lifeblood of most businesses.

How you can attract more people to your trade show

Wednesday, November 25th, 2009

One method that is severely overlooked in getting more buzz about your business are trade shows. More specifically you look for those trade shows that are geared to the type of products and niche you are in. Because if you are able to locate a trade show that caters to a specific niche or market you will get a lot of exposure to your product within that niche. But the secret is once you are entered into the trade show is to have as many people as you can get go to your booth. Here are some methods of doing just that.

First of all you will need a quality designed trade show display booth.Put another way you are going to waste your time there if your display booth looks cheap. You have to get your booth setup to look as professional as you can get it to look.In a trade show the image you display means a lot.If your set up doesn’t look professional the people there won’t trust you.

Second thing you might consider are trade show pop up displays. This is a setup that does more than a regular booth. If you have seen them at a trade show, you will recognize them because they will be a huge graphic on a display. If you get one you can really draw attention to your product.Of course the design of it has to be professionally done to have an impact. Because it will attract attention. But the moment it does, it then has to get the people to decide to come to it.

Finally next to your display you will want to have trade show banner stands. This will be something that helps alongside your booth. They are going to be similar to flags that can signal to people from far away who you are.If you have a logo or product image that looks great it will be beneficial to put it on the banner stand. This works because it towers above the crowd so it can get attention from people from far away.

So those were the methods that you can use to drive more traffic to your trade show display booths.Because once entered into the trade show, you want to have as many people as you can visit your booth.
